Quasilinear singularly perturbed problem with boundary perturbation.
A class of quasilinear singularly perturbed problems with boundary perturbation is considered. Under suitable conditions, using theory of differential inequalities we studied the asymptotic behavior of the solution for the boundary value problem.
متن کاملA Block Monotone Domain Decomposition Algorithm for a Nonlinear Singularly Perturbed Parabolic Problem
This paper deals with discrete monotone iterative algorithms for solving a nonlinear singularly perturbed parabolic problem. A block monotone domain decomposition algorithm based on a Schwarz alternating method and on a block iterative scheme is constructed. This monotone algorithm solves only linear discrete systems at each time level and converges monotonically to the exact solution of the no...
متن کاملApproximations for singularly perturbed parabolic equations of arbitrary order
Approximations for singularly perturbed parabolic equations @ v ( ; x) = " X jkj 2p Ak( ; x) @ k xv ( ; x); v(0; x) = '(x) (1) are studied over regions (0; T="] R. Time scaling reduces this equation to @tu (t; x) = X jkj 2p Ak(t="; x) @ k xu (t; x); u(0; x) = '(x) (2) on (0; T ] R. Under mild conditions, (2) has a C -valued solution whose arbitrary order x-derivatives are compared (as " & 0 on ...
متن کاملLong term behaviour of singularly perturbed parabolic degenerated equation
In this paper we consider models built in [3] for short-term, mean-term and long-term morphodynamics of dunes and megariples. We give an existence and uniqueness result for long term dynamics of dunes. This result is based on a time-space periodic solution existence result for degenerated parabolic equation that we set out. Finally the mean-term and long-term models are homogenized.
متن کاملSolving Parabolic Singularly Perturbed Problems by Collocation Using Tension Splines
Tension spline is a function that, for given partition x0 < x1 < . . . < xn, on each interval [xi, xi+1] satisfies differential equation (D − ρiD)u = 0, where ρi’s are prescribed nonnegative real numbers. In the literature, tension splines are used in collocation methods applied to two-points singularly perturbed boundary value problems with Dirichlet boundary conditions. In this paper, we adap...
